BossesBosses arrive on a schedule, legendary birds and Mewtwo among them. They drop treasure chests.
ItemsFoes sometimes drop Potions, Nuggets, X Attack, X Speed, Magnets and the Poke Flute.
Move evolutionsMax a move to level 8 while holding its type item (Charcoal for Ember, Magnet for Thunder Shock...) to evolve it.
Mega EvolutionIf your partner's current form can Mega Evolve, a boss chest gives its Mega Stone. Press MEGA (M) to Mega Evolve for the rest of the run.
Dynamax and GigantamaxDefeat foes to fill the Dynamax meter, then press X to grow giant for 15 seconds and unleash Max Moves. Pokemon with a Gigantamax form get a G-Max Move. Megas can't Dynamax.
Elites and shiniesGlowing elites have special powers and better drops. Shiny Pokemon are rare, tough and pay big. Defeating one unlocks a shiny partner.
Natures and abilitiesEach run rolls a nature. Your ability comes from your type, like Blaze, Static or Sturdy.
Biomes and EndlessUnlock new biomes with their own Pokemon and bosses. After 15:00 you can keep going into Endless.
ControllerGamepads work: left stick moves, A picks, Start pauses.
Weather and statusRain, sun, sandstorms and hail change type damage. Foes can burn, poison, paralyze, freeze or sleep you; berries cure it.
Z-Moves and buddiesA chest can hold a Z-Crystal: one screen-wide Z-Move per boss. Pick a buddy to fight beside you; a shared type is a Synergy.
Gyms, raids and AscensionEarn badges in the Gym Challenge, join the weekly community Max Raid, and after a win climb Ascension tiers for bigger rewards.
Mastery and replaysPartners gain mastery perks as you play them. Watch or race the best runs from the leaderboard.
Swapping movesWith a full move bar, level-ups sometimes offer a new move to swap in. Pick the move to forget; the new one keeps half its levels. The Move Reminder at Kecleon's stall does the same.
Held item slotsYou can hold 6 different held items (Kecleon's Item Bag adds more) and 2 crafted ones. Once they're full, level-ups only upgrade what you hold, so choose your build.
CraftingMax two matching held items (like Life Orb and Expert Belt) and a level-up offers to craft a legendary item, like the Adamant Orb or Rusted Sword.
Endless and ArceusEndless never ends. A legendary challenges you every ten minutes from 30:00, Arceus descends at 60:00, and each milestone pays ₽1,000.
Legendary TrialsEvery legendary has a trial. Each has a 1 in 16 shiny chance, and five clears without one guarantee the next. At a quarter HP it makes a last stand: find the gap in the ring.
Safari ZoneNo battles: 5 minutes and 30 Safari Balls. Pokemon shy away, so toss Bait (Q). Weather changes who shows up, and gold ★ rarities pay extra. Shinies are 1 in 512.
PhonesDrag to move and flick quickly to dash. The big red button throws a Poke Ball and shows how many you have.
Photo mode and SpectatePause and pick Photo mode to save a picture of your run. Watch other trainers live from Spectate (turn sharing off in Settings › Online).
Kecleon ShopSpend Poke Dollars from your runs on permanent upgrades and new partners.
AchievementsEarn Poke Dollars and unlock legendary partners by completing achievements.
