Terms of service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using the PokéGogo Discord bot, the Discord activity or the website at pokegogo.xyz (together, "PokéGogo"), you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use PokéGogo. You also have to follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Who can play

You must be old enough to have a Discord account (at least 13, or older where your country requires it). If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.

3. Your account

• Your PokéGogo trainer is tied to your Discord account. One trainer per person: no alternate accounts to farm rewards, and no sharing or selling accounts.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your Discord login safe.
• We can reset, suspend or ban a trainer that breaks these terms or the house rules. A ban can take away progress, gold and items.

4. Gold, items and games

• Everything in PokéGogo is virtual and has no real-world value. Gold, Pokémon, items, cards, badges, styles and every other in-game thing can't be exchanged for real money, goods or services, and we'll never buy them back.
• You don't own in-game items. You get a personal, revocable permission to use them in PokéGogo while it runs.
• Selling or buying PokéGogo accounts, gold or items for real money or for anything outside the game is not allowed and can lead to a ban.
• The casino-style games (slots, Crash, Roulette, Plinko, Hold'em, the lottery and others) are played only with in-game gold, for fun. They are not gambling: you can't pay real money into them and you can't win real money or prizes from them.
• We may change how the game works at any time, including prices, rewards, payout rates and drop rates, and we may fix mistakes by correcting balances or items (for example after a bug paid out too much).

5. Memberships and support

Any optional membership or supporter perk only gives in-game extras and support for the project. Perks can change over time. Payments are handled by the payment provider or by Discord under their own terms; we never see your card details. Unless the law where you live says otherwise, payments aren't refundable once the perk has been delivered.

6. Playing fair

Don't:

• use bots, scripts, macros or automation to play, or bypass captchas and limits;
• exploit bugs instead of reporting them, or attack, overload or try to break into PokéGogo;
• scam, threaten or harass other players, or trick them in trades;
• post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent, or someone else's private information, or spam chats;
• pretend to be staff or another player.

Found a bug? Tell us in the support server. Reporting it honestly won't get you in trouble.

7. What you post

You keep any rights you have in what you write (chat messages, bios, clan descriptions and the like), and you give us permission to store and show it in PokéGogo so the features work. Staff can remove anything that breaks these terms, and can mute or ban the account that posted it.

8. Pokémon and other names

PokéGogo is an unofficial fan project. Pokémon, Pokémon character names and related names and images are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc., and are used here for non-commercial fan purposes. PokéGogo is not made, endorsed, sponsored or approved by any of them. If you own rights in something shown on PokéGogo and want it removed, contact us in the support server and we'll look at it quickly.

Everything else in PokéGogo (its code, design, text and original artwork) is © PokéGogo. You may not copy, resell or republish it without permission.

9. No guarantees

PokéGogo is run by a small team and offered "as is". We do our best to keep it running and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error free, or that data will never be lost. We may pause, change or end any part of PokéGogo, or PokéGogo as a whole, at any time.

10. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, PokéGogo and the people who run it aren't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, or for losing virtual items, gold or progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that can't be limited.

11. Ending

You can stop using PokéGogo at any time, and ask us to delete your data (see the privacy policy). We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for bigger changes post a note in the website's "What's new" and the support server. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
